We had several competitors represent us at the recent Battleground Championships. It was great to see a lot of the techniques we have been training so hard and even better to see techniques that were created and modified on the fly. Big thanks to Tony and Michelle for letting us fly the Team Urban Jungle colors.
Congratulations to Asher. He is the first student to conquer the Summer 2000 Challenge. 500 Arm Bars, 500 Throws, 500 Sweeps and 500 Escapes. Lots of hard work and dedication and a big commitment from his mom to get him to class early and let him stay late. You killed it Asher. Repetition is the Mother of Skill Benjamin, Teagan, Maddie, Maddison, Liam, Hailey, Harley and Asher are working to earn a custom gi. Keep pushing guys. Congratulations to Kaiden and Brayden. They have been with us for over 3 years and have come a LONG way. They have progressed from not even wanting to step on the mat to some of our most fierce competitors we have.
I spent a week training with "Bad Pads" Biggs at the Decatur Boxing Club (https://www.biggsboxing.com/) with my brother and nephew. It has been a over a month and my knees still hurt from all the rope that we jumped.
